Description:
Big Bend is the perfect family campground along a bend on the south branch of the Potomac River in Smoke Hole Canyon. With its situation on the river, fishing, tubing, swimming, and boating are excellent activities for the family. There is also plenty of local wildlife to keep you entertained.
Reservations are available at Big Bend from April through October. They can be made up to six months in advance but they must be made at least 4 days prior to your intended arrival date.

This campground has first-come, first-served sites. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Access to the campground is on narrow gravel roads.
All equipment must fit on the site pad
Vehicle parking in developed areas only
No refunds are given for bad weather
Pets must be leashed
Holder of Golden Pass must be present
A per day per vehicle fee will be collected at the campground for extra vehicles beginning with the 3rd vehicle
Tents must be placed on pads provided
