About the Campground
Boles Field is located in the Northern portion of the Sabine National Forest. The area centers around a cemetery for Fox Hounds established at the turn of the century, this site has a history of equestrian activities.
Uniquely developed for large gatherings, Boles Field has an Amphitheater which holds approximately 100 people and Group Shelter that accommodate family events. These amenities must be reserved in advance.
With the Toledo Bend Reservoir just 6 miles miles away, Bole Field offers an opportunity to visit one of the nations most regarded freshwater fishing sites.

Alerts and Important Information
Any event comprising a group of people over 75 requires a special use permit. Permits may be requested by phone to the primay point of contact. Requests must be made a minimum of 30 days in advance of the event.
The Group Shelter and the Amphitheater require reservations. All campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees are payable at the Fee Station on the North Side of the Recreation Area. Instructions are posted.
