About the Campground

Surrounded by large Sitka Spruce, Douglas fir, and Alder trees, Cape Perpetua is nestled along the banks of Cape Creek. The diverse landscapes throughout the Siuslaw National Forest are no different in this campground, there are hiking trails through the trees, and an ocean view to the west. In addition to the beach and swimming in the ocean, you can watch the whales during certain seasons, or visit the nearby Mary's Peak and the Rock Creek Wilderness area or escape to the beautiful Cape Perpetua Scenic Area and visitor's center. Reservations can be made mid-May through Labor Day weekend. You can make reservations up to 6 months in advance for the family campgrounds and up to 1 year in advance for the group site. They must be made at least 4 days before your intended arrival date.

Please call to check the status of the work and whether any sections will be open. Please call about 1 week prior to your intended stay.
