Check in at Cottonwood Visitor center. Hours 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No overflow parking, water available, hiking trails in the area, no rock climbing in area, has Ramada for shade. Back country permits can be obtained at the Backcountry Board.

Entrance fees are $15 for a 7 day period per private family vehicle.

This is the Cottonwood Group campground in Joshua Tree National Park.
Pets must be leashed. Pets are not allowed on trails and are restricted to developed areas only.

Quiet hours are from10pm to 6am. Generators allowed 7am-9am, 12pm-2pm and 5pm-7pm
Minimum of 7 people maximum of 15, maximum of 7 vehicles, vehicle limit strictly enforced, no trailers, RV's or campers over 25 feet, $15 entrance fee, organized/special events require permits multiple tents allowed for up to maximum capacity of people.
