Description:
Cottonwood Point Campground is located on Marion Reservoir just north of U.S. Highway 56 between the communities of Marion and Hillsboro. Thousands of visitors annually come to enjoy the scenic beauty of Cottonwood Point with its easy shoreline access to the water and the abundance of shade around the campsites. While staying in the campground, you may see white-tailed deer, pelicans, raccoons, and various other waterfowl. Anglers have bright opportunities as channel catfish, walleye, white bass and wipers are the most popular catches of the day.

Hillsboro and Marion have a nationally recognized Art and Crafts show every third Saturday in September.
