Most bass are moving shallow and stocking up for the pre-spawn right now and can be caught on squarebill crankbaits and jerkbaits near fallen trees and weeds. Catfish can be caught on live and cut shad fished near shallow and deep cover. Crappie can be caught on minnows and jigs near brush piles and fallen trees in the shallows.

Bass fishing is great; bass were stocked in 2011. Bluegill and redear sunfish (shellcracker) were stocked in 2010. Catfish will be stocked in the fall of 2012.
