Green

Drove by the lake today, towards the Visitor's Center. I noticed the lake had a greenish tint. It's the blue-green algae in bloom.

Jumping Waves

Took my ski boat out today. A lot of algae particles in the water. Many boats out slinging the kids around in tubes. Water was higher than normal. Ok during early afternoon hours, but later in the evening, debris started moving its way into main bodies of water. Large trees and big sticks. Snaked my way back to dock without incident. Water was green in color when waves were created behind the boat. Hope the algae isn't HAB. No sickness after, so must be ok for now.
