Bream are biting well on redworms in Pierce Creek. Crappie are biting well in the channels on jigs and minnows suspended one foot from the bottom. Catfishing is good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

The lake is stained and low, some stumps are exposed along with trees. Bream fishing has been excellent with worms and crickets and poppers on fly rods. Crappie fishing, however, is not very good. Bass are ok, try top-water baits and frogs early and late in the day. Catfish have been excellent with worms and cut bait.
