Near the banks, here, you'll find bluegill and crappie with year-round bass. Fishing is best in the summer months, and between February and April. Channel catfish are a popular catch. There is an accessible pier here, plus tons of banks to fish. Boats can be rented here, but permits can no longer be purchased on the lake. Anglers must purchase them online before fishing. There is a baitshop with basics -- worms, crickets, and minnows -- and limits are posted at the lake on clear signs. Watch for the Game Warden here - they do check for licenses and creel limits regularly.
