Little Grassy Lake Fishing Report near Carbondale, Illinois
Write a Report
If you're after large largemouth bass and you live in southern IL you might want to fish 1,000 acre Little Grassy Lake. Along with the bass you will also find good catfish, and above average panfish. Early in the fishing season you should consider trying small bays, feeder creeks, and near the dam. The rest of the year fish drop offs down to 12 feet, small bays, and weed lines. I would think about using spinners, soft plastics, and live bait. Good luck fishing!
