Fishing Tips for Nevins Lake

You can find decent bass and panfish in Nevins Lake but the main draw by far are the rainbow trout stocked yearly by the DNR. In the spring the southern end of the lake (especially the channels) will hold most of the fish. The rest of the year the bass and panfish can be found near the weedlines and the windblown side of the lake. The rainbow trout are restricted to the deep hole from late spring through early fall. Tight Lines!
