Hunters Spring provides a winter opportunity to stay in the Little Belt Mountains of central Montana and experience solitude and all the fun of winter recreation, whether motorized or non-motorized. Access is by snowmobile to this two story cabin. There is lots of room for up to 8 people with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, and living room. This is really a frame house that is used most of the year by Forester Service employees working on the Lewis and Clark National Forest.
No pets are allowed in the rental building at any time.
Pets are to be leashed or kenneled outside of the rental building. Users are responsible in removing all pet food and droppings prior to departure.

Alerts and Important Information
There is no water, electricity, or sewer at the cabin and the cabin is not accessible to the disabled. Bring your own bedding, food, and water. Firewood is provided for the wood stove and is for use only with the stove. Please refill the firewood box before you leave.
Visitors must clean the cabin and police the grounds prior to departure. (Occupants will be billed for damage or extra clean-up costs.) Nightly fee for the cabin is $20 for up to 14 consecutive nights.
The road to the cabin is typically closed by snow to wheeled vehicles during rental season. The road is not plowed. Access is limited to snowmobile, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing to travel to the cabin.
Keys must be picked up during normal working hours Monday-Friday 8 AM to 4:30 P.M. at Lewis and Clark National Forest offices in Stanford, Great Falls, Belt Creek, White Sulphur Springs, Harlowton, Choteau, or Augusta. For addresses and more information please call the Harlowton office at (406)632-4391. A drivers license with picture will be required for positive identification. Please return key within 5 days to the office from which obtained or a key replacement fee will be charged. Cabins can only be reserved up to 180 days in advance.
