Do Not Waste Your Time and Save Your Money!
I grew up in the midwest as an avid outdoorsman. I recently relocated to NC for work and was really excited when I pulled into the parking lot of Drake Landing. It reminded me a lot of home. I'm a corporate executive and had interest in using this facility for entertainment purposes for business. I brought a friend with me who is a police officer and has been a SWAT officer to provide some feedback of his thoughts on the facility. We got out of his truck and were excited about what we saw. While talking and looking around we walked down a short path to a building on the left. I poked my head in and asked a gentleman that works there (actually found out he's the owner) where we check in for the pistol range. He immediately asked me if we could read. I laughed and said yes, why. He said, "If you can't follow directions or the signs that we have posted I don't want you on my range and you should head back to the Hwy you came from." Thinking he was being sarcastic we just kind of laughed at him, turned around and headed up the hill to the building you check in at. As we neared the top he asked where we were going. We said to check in. He proceeds to say, "The Hwy is that Way", then spits tobacco. My jaw dropped and hung there. It became evident that he was not kidding, so we looked at each other, my buddy about to blow a gasket, and walked back to the truck.. I have never witnessed anything like this in my life. Where did that attitude and comments come from? Where is the customer service? As a business owner, why would you turn your customer immediately away? I can't think of another time I've taken the time to type something like this up, but in this case I plan on getting the message out as much as possible. Do more searches, you'll see that I am not the only one. My last laugh is that I have a very large expense account, 100K+ (no joke), and Dan Andrews is not getting a single dollar.... Dan, I had the KC Ballcap on. Good luck with your business.
