Description:
Temperatures moderate to cool from September through May. Hot and humid from June through August. Pets must be on a leash at all times. No alcohol, no pets on beach. Swimming, boating (no gas motors), picnicking, hiking, fishing. Location approx. 15 miles east of Crockett, TX on State Hwy 7 east. Paved roads & camp spurs. Area has hardwoods and pines. Campground surrounds a small 45 acre lake. Central timezone. Electrical Spurs will accommodate vehicles up to 50' in length by backing over tent pad area. A total of 77 campsites. 26 sites have electric hookups. Year round camping. Campsites MUST be occupied the first night and the site or equipment cannot be left unoccupied or unattended for more than 24 hours. Each campsite is limited to 8 persons and 1 RV (5th wheeled trailer, motorhome, trailer or pop-up) unit or 2 tents. Each vehicle (camp trailer considered 1 vehicle) over 2 per site will be charged an additional fee of $3.00 per night and may need to park in parking lot across from concession area. Fire permitted in fire rings only.

Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area will be closed from April 7, 2010 to April 27, 2010 sorry for any inconvience.
This campground is first-come, first-served basis except for 9 sites in the electric loop.
No sites have full hookups (electricity, water, sewer).
Showers are hot and cold located in several bathrooms in the campground.
An RV or 5-wheeled trailer or pop-up trailer counts as 1 vehicle per site.
A fee of $3.00 for each extra vehicle over 2 per campsite.
Water spigots are shared between sites and are located approx. 75ft away.
No gas motors allowed on the lake.
No ATVs or ORVs allowed in the park or on the hiking trails.
All vehicles must park on the paved part of the site.
Pavilion is a day-use area activity and no overnight camping is allowed in the pavilion.
In the Amphitheatre site, there are no tables, grills, picnicking or camping.
Reserve Sites have water and electric (20 or 30 amp) serivice at each site.
Hot Showers are located in two of the restrooms in the campground.
