About the Campground
Open all year round. Modern restrooms are open Apr 15-Oct 1. Water is shut off and many restrooms are closed after Oct 1 to prevent frozen pipes Campers will be directed to an open restroom or vault toilet which may be a short distance from their campsite.
Canoeing, tubing, swimming, and fishing are popular activities. The town of Eminence is 13 south and offers restaurants, outdoor supplies, Horseback riding, and tube and canoe rental concessionaires. The scenic Round Spring Cave is nearby and ranger-led tours are available during the summer months at 10 am and 2 pm. The Current River is crystal clear and spring fed, cool and refreshing on a hot summer day. The campground has flush toilets and free hot showers available. Ranger-led campfire programs are offered in the campground amphitheater during the summer months. Ozark National Scenic Riverways has a Firewood Movement Restriction Program in effect to prevent the spread of invasive insects and diseases. If you plan to visit the park, buy your firewood from a local source (within 50 mile radius of your destination) or you may collect 'dead and down' wood in the park. All firewood must be burned before you leave.

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made 7 days in advance. If you attempt to make a reservation less than 7 days away all campsites will be listed as unavailable. This does not necessarily mean that all are reserved. Some campsites may be available but only on a first come first serve basis. Quiet Hours are from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Pets must be on a leash at all times. CAUTION: Diving from river bluffs is illegal, dangerous and can result in injury or death. The following items are prohibited on the Current and Jacks Fork Rivers: Styrofoam, glass containers, Jell-o shots, beer kegs and beer bongs.
Water and 50 amp electric hookups are now available. Be prepared to convert electric if you have 30 amps. There is no sewer hookup, but a dump station is available at the campground entrance. Family campsites are limited to 6 people and a max. of 2 Tents or 1 Tent and one RV. All equipment and vehicles must fit on site pad. Park vehicles in designated areas only. Group sites are closed in the Off season.
