Spire Rock Campground and Camping

Description:
Spire Rock Campground is located on the Bozeman Ranger District of the Gallatin National Forest 26 miles south of Bozeman, Montana. The campground, at 5,600 feet elevation, is adjacent to Storm Castle Creek, a tributary of the Gallatin River. Most campsites are along the creek surrounded by spruce and fir trees. Roads and campsite spurs are gravel.

Alerts and Important Information Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Two non-towed vehicles may be parked per site; the first vehicle is included in the basic fee, the second vehicle is charged the extra fee. A fee of $6.00 for the extra vehicle will be collected at the campground. Please bring your own drinking water. This campground has first-come, first-served sites. Sites may be available on a first come-first served basis outside the reservation season. Please call (877) 646-1012 for more details concerning the availability for this campground outside the reservation season. Group site #12 is available for Day Use also; each group is treated as if they would be an overnight group regardless of how early they plan to leave. A fee for exceeding the number of people listed in the reservations for any site will be collected at the campground. Bears frequent the area; please store all food appropriately.
