Enjoy outstanding views from the front porch or warm up next to the stone fireplace. Sunrise is a beautiful four-bedroom, two-bath cabin with water and electrictiy. It is located off of State Route 94, near the town of Ivanhoe, VA. Many opportunities for hiking, fishing, biking, and canoeing exist in the National Forest and at the New River Trail State Park. The cabin is open from April 01 to November 30th.

This cabin will not accept walk-in reservations, cabin will be available for reservations available only online and through the call center at least 4 days in advance.
You will need to call the headquarters office for the Mount Rogers NRA prior to coming for the combination to the cabin if the combination is not included in the confirmation letter under Security Alerts. The phone number is (800) 628-7202 or (276) 783-5196.

No Smoking Allowed
Bring flashlight, bedding, pillows, food, trash bags, bath towels, dishwashing detergent, lawn furniture, firewood, first aid kit, charcoal for grill.
Has 4 bedrooms with 1 full bed, 6 singles and 2 baths.
Has outdoor grill and picnic table.
Not wheelchair accessible.
Maximum number of vehicles is 8 and is strictly enforced.
Please bring a flashlight.
Limited dishes, pots/pans. No linens, pillows, or towels provided.
Has electricity and water.
No pets or horses allowed at cabin.
As you leave the cabin, please make sure the lights are turned off, the cookstove turned off, and heat turned to low. Also, make sure all the doors & windows are locked and the keys are returned to the locked box when you leave.
The cabin and grounds around the cabin can occupy 8 people maximum.
Check-In time is 4:00 pm and Check-Out time is 11:00 am. Pack-In/Pack-Out facility.
