Tanners Flat Campground and Camping

Description:
Tanner's Flat Campground is located 10 miles from Sandy, UT at an elevation of 7200 feet. This campground is set on the banks of a mountain stream, shaded with pine and aspen trees. Little Cottonwood Creek is stocked with trout for fishing, and numerous hiking trails cross the area, including a hike up to Secret Lake right near the campground. Spectacular wildflower viewing is available nearby at Albion Basin in July and August, and the fall leaves light up the canyon in September and October. There is also a volleyball court at the campground, you will need to bring your own equipment (net, ball, etc.).

Alerts and Important Information This campground has first-come, first-serve sites Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends, 3-nights on holiday weekends A per day, per vehicle fee will be collected at the campsite for extra vehicles Site limits for people and vehicles are strictly enforced Check site lengths carefully, most sites will not accommodate a big rig No animals-pets or livestock-allowed in the canyon or campground No admittance to the campground from 10pm to 7am
