Willis Creek Campground and Camping

Willis Creek Park is located in the gently rolling hills of the Texas Blackland Prairie, in the spring it offers an exceptional array of wildflowers that blanket the landscape. Willis Creek Park is approximately 14 miles form Taylor, TX and 40 miles from Austin TX. It is open year round with 27 sites. 30 to 20 amp service is available at each site with water hookup, covered picnic table, lantern hook, stand up grills and fire ring. Tent camping is welcome. There is a boat dock with courtesy ramp located in the park.

Alerts and Important Information Willis Creek Park will be closed until April 18, 2010 due to delays on road construction. Willis Creek Park will be on Walk-In Status(First-Come, First-Served) starting on May 3, 2010 to May 17, 2010 due to replacement of electric pedestals. Reservations will be accepted again starting on May 18, 2010. Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. All sites in Willis Creek are not reservable. Site #17 is for disabled access only. Parking is limited to what will fit on the asphalt camp pad which is 54'x12'. Entrance hours are 6am to 10pm and sites range $14-$18/night. Maximum 8 people per campsite. Maximum 2 vehicles per campsite.
