About the Campground

The Aquarius Ranger Station is located about 15 miles south of Loa, Utah on the west side of Boulder Mountain. It is located near Pine Creek Reservoir, Cooks Lake, Miller Lake and numerous popular fishing lakes located on the Boulder Top. It is located along the Great Western ATV Trail. This rustic two room cabin sleeps four people comfortably. The area surrounding the cabin will accommodate two to three RV's and several tents. Summer days are warm and nights are cool. Facilities provided include one double bed, one set of bunk beds, table and chairs, wood cook stove, propane cook stove with oven, and propane hot water heater. A vault toilet is located adjacent to the ranger station as well as a group fire ring and several picnic tables. Bring you own bedding and light. Some pots and pans, dishes and utinsels are provided but you might also wish to bring your own. There is no electricity. Potable water is available in the ranger station and at an adjacent hydrant. Camping in RV's and tents is also allowed at the site. There are no RV hookups or no facilities to dispose of trailer waste. Please haul it out to an approved trailer dump station. The nearest one is located in Torrey, Utah. No saddle, draft or pack animals are allowed within the site. No pets are allowed in the Ranger Station. Please bring garbage bags. This facility is "Pack it in, Pack it out". Popular activities include: fishing, hiking, mountain biking, ATV riding and big game hunting.

Alerts and Important Information Same day reservations are allowed. No lanterns are provided. The cabin has a wood cook stove for heating. Please leave the cabin clean for the next occupant. You are responsible for the removal of your own trash from the cabin. Fees are non-refundable. Use is limited to a maximum of 20 persons if extras stay in tents and self-contained vehicles. Golden Age or Golden Access passports are not accepted. There is no electricity. Potable water is available in the ranger station. Please bring garbage bags. This facility is "Pack it in, Pack it out".
