About the Campground

Boise Creek Campground is located in a mixed hardwood and Douglas fir forest with many large Pacific Madrone trees. There are two vault type unisex accessible restrooms and all campsites are furnished with wooden tables and combination fire ring grills. The campground's location, 1.5 miles from the town of Willow Creek and the Trinity River, makes it an ideal location to participate in the area's many recreation activities. Fishing, swimming and whitewater rafting are all close by in the Trinity River. Campers can walk the 1/2 mile trail from the campground to the nearby creek and find a swimming hole or explore native plants and wildlife. Visitors can also check out the town's 9 hole public golf course or participate in the area's numerous cultural and social events like the annual Bigfoot Days on Labor Day weekend.

Alerts and Important Information Boise Creek Campground is located 1.5 miles from the town of Willow Creek where most services are available, including fuel, propane, medical, restaurants, groceries, hardware, laundry, and post office. Cell phone coverage is available. Campsites have combination fire ring grills. Pressurized drinking water is available at the campground. Host site is located just behind the entrance station. There are 2 vault type accessible restrooms. No showers are available Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Site fee includes 1 vechicle and a fee of $5.00 will be collected for each extra vehicle at the campground. Envelopes are available at the fee board. Extra parking is not available. Campsites 5, 9, & 10 limited to one vehicle per campsite. Campsites 7 & 12 limited to 3 vehicles and all other sites limited to 2 vehicles. All equipement must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed areas only Sites 8 through 16 available on first come first serve basis at the campground. There are no electric/water/sewer hookups at this campground. Pressurized drinking water is available but there are no showers.
