About the Campground
Boulder Lake Campground offers a great camping experience for everyone. From the rustic tent sites to the sites with electric. With rustic vault toilets to the beautiful shower buildings, with flush toilets. All buildings have accessible shower/restroom facilities. All vault toilets are also accessible. Most of the campsites are also accessible. There are campsites along the lake and sites in the back of the campground for a quieter experience. Boulder Lake Campground lies around the Southern end of the beautiful 362 acre Boulder Lake.
Shower buildings are open from approximately April 15 to October 15. Water is shut off and restrooms are closed after approximately Oct 15.
Boulder Lake campground has 89 regular family campsites. Family campsites can accommodate a maximum of 3 vehicles and 8 people per site. Sites 9-16 and 40-54 have electricity. Each of these sites has a vertical electric box, each with 20, 30, and 50 amp service available. There are 6 sites available for small groups that accommodate up to 16 people. These sites are Ash, Birch, Cherry, Elm, Maple and Oak. There are 4 sites for large groups that accommodate up to 30 people. These sites are Balsam, Cedar, Hemlock, and Spruce. Reservations can be made on campsites 40-54 (with electricity) and site 66, 68, 81-89 (non-electric). All of the group sites can be reserved.
Reservations are available on all group sites and sites 41-54, 66, and 68. 81-89 from May 4, through August 31st, 2010..

Alerts and Important Information
Reservations must be made 4 days in advance.
This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. Must reserve Friday and Saturday. NO Saturday starts.
Check in time is 2:00pm.
Campers must leave the campground for 7 days after their maximum length of stay of 14 days.
Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 6:00am.
Pets must be leashed at all times, and waste products must be properly disposed. Pets are not allowed in the restrooms, or showers.
Please be sure to completely extinguish fires, and deposit all garbage and recyclables in provided containers.
Registered campers are responsible for securing their campsite and personal property.
The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF) has prohibited the possession, storage or transportation of any firewood that originates from outside the state of Wisconsin or that originates from more than 25 miles from the destination point. The exception is firewood gathered on the CNNF. This is to prevent the spread the Emerald Ash Borer and other exotic insect pests. Firewood is available at or near camping facilities.
No firearms or fireworks allowed in campground.
