About the Campground

Located in Southern California. Pets must be leashed. Pets are not allowed on trails and are restricted to developed areas only. Bring your own firewood. No gathering of wood allowed. No hook-ups. No firearms or fireworks. Quiet hours 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Generators allowed 7 a.m.-9a.m., 12 p.m.-2 p.m. and 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Check in at Cottonwood Visitor center. Hours 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. No overflow parking, water available, hiking trails in the area, no rock climbing in area, has Ramada for shade. Back country permits can be obtained at the Backcountry Board. Are you a commercial user? If so, you are required to obtain incidental business permit. Please call 760-367-5545 Altitude: 3000 feet. Entrance fees are $15 for a 7 day period per private family vehicle. Recreation: Hiking, birdwatching, stargazing (no rock climbing) Nearby Attractions: General Patton's Museum

Pets must be leashed. Pets are not allowed on trails and are restricted to developed areas only. Bring own firewood no gathering of wood. No hook-ups. No firearms or fireworks. Quiet hours are from10pm to 6am. Generators allowed 7am-9am, 12pm-2pm and 5pm-7pm Minimum of 7 people maximum of 15, maximum of 7 vehicles, vehicle limit strictly enforced, no trailers, RV's or campers over 25 feet, $15 entrance fee, organized/special events require permits multiple tents allowed for up to maximum capacity of people. If arriving after noon the following day call 760-362-4367.
