Alerts and Important Information The last night of camping for the 2010 season at Fish Creek Campground is September 5th, 2010. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. Check in available at 1:00 p.m. on day of arrival. Check out time is 12 noon. Campers arriving after 8:00 p.m. will find their campsite assignment posted on the kiosk located at the campground entrance, you must confirm your registration by 8:00 a.m. the next morning. Bear habitat: food storage regulations strictly enforced. When not in immediate use, all food, beverages, coolers, cooking utensils, pet food, or other attractants must be kept in a closed hard-sided vehicle or secured in bear proof storage lockers located near campground comfort stations. Generator use is permitted only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., 12 noon - 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Generator use is not permitted in C loop. Pets must be on a leash and are not permitted on trails. Vehicles and vehicle combinations longer than 21 feet (including bumpers) or wider than 8 feet (including mirrors) are prohibited between Avalanche Campground and the Sun Point parking area. Entrance fee is $25 per vehicle, $12 for hiker or cyclist; pass is valid for 7 days. Campground stay is limited to seven consecutive days for each reservation. If you drive in you will not be able to use the hiker/ biker site.
