Alder Lake near Sterling, Virginia
Throughout this lake you’re able to find panfish, largemouth bass and northern pike. I love catching the northern pike throughout this lake since they are large and provide you with a challenge when it comes to reeling one in. You can then go from there and bring them in the boat. Make sure to have a firm grip on your pole when reeling them in or they will take off with the pole. Go to the deeper portions of the water to find them when it is hot, and go towards the edges of the lake when it is cold to find them eating.
