Lots of Rainbows to be had!
3/28/2011 2:07 PM
Allison Lake is located not far from Highway 5A outside of Princeton (BC). The lake is no more than 125 feet deep, and was stocked in the early 1990's with 12,000 rainbow trout. Despite it's popularity with local anglers, there are some large rainbows to be had here, with many 3lb of bigger examples to prove it. For best results here, use Streamers, although leeches with nymphs will work well, and consider using a sinking line. As always, consider using midges (chironomids) since they are always a key major food source for trout in calm water.
