Ararat River near Pilot Mountain, North Carolina
GREAT EFFORT by the Fish and Game commission and the local community to restore the river for the new Delayed Harvest Section. This DH river has been customized to hold fish and provide a great fishing expierence. And that it does! First time i fished the Ararat River I had caught over 18 trout but had to work for them in about a 1.5 mile section. This is a great river but I would like to see the Fish and Game commission stock twice as many fish as last year in the DH section. Great Job Guys and we will be fishing this river all year long!!!
