So... As of 2-20-2021 Baker reservoir has very low water...

on February 21st

So... As of 2-20-2021 Baker reservoir has very low water levels. There is construction going on on the spillway so access is very limited. Two of us went fishing from the dam today for about 2 hours & caught only one large (11 inches) Gold Fish... No other nibbles or strikes. Hopefully after the construction is done & the water levels get up, it'll be nice again. Unless you're going up for the scenery, don't waste a trip. Wes

Fishing for the nice trout that make their home in Baker Reservoir is good from September through May. The fishing dips considerably during the warmer months. Most people fish the small reservoir from shore, but anglers using boats or float tubes have quite a bit of success.
