Bear Canyon Lake near Sun Valley, Arizona
Considering the Bear Canyon Lake is deep and stocked with trout 6 times a year starting in late spring the fishing is really good. Prepared trout bait does not work very well here so I recommend using small spinners, crankbaits, worms fished under a bobber, and the usual flies. You can't really wade here because it gets really deep really fast here. Because of the deep water fishing is good in the summer because there are lower water temps and higher amounts of oxygen. The best fishing happens when trout are being stocked but good fishing can be found in the fall for huge hold over fish. Tight Lines!
