Beaver Dams Creek

on November 8th

This creek will eventually run into a larger body of water along Beaver Dams Park. Trout in the area are good sized and seem to bite on flies over hard baits. Try using some local flies made by shop owners. They know the seasons and the larvae the trout are hitting on. If you don't have a fly try using some hard baits like a 4" rapala jake bait. Cast, let it sink as if it has just hit the water and died. If no action after that -- reel in using stop and reel -- reel in quickly for a few turns, let sit then reel again. The trout will hit on the pause.
