Fishing Tips for Beaver Kill

on December 6th

Even though the fish here are not the biggest Beaver Kill is a dry fly fisherman’s dream; deep pools, small waterfalls, overhanging banks, and every other kind of cover imaginable. Another good thing about Beaver Kill is that what the fish lack in size they make up for with numbers so you will never get bored. In fact the only bad thing I know about Beaver Kill is that it gets a lot fishing pressure because the fishing is so awesome. The best baits to catch all these fish is small dry flies in size 12 to 14. Hendricksons and green drakes work well in May and terrestrials work mid-summer on. Good luck fishing!
