Look for shallow grass beds to throw a spinner bait or plastic worm into. Bass hold here in the spring and summer. Throw crank baits around downed trees and edges of weeds.
Crappie in Big Creek Lake
by Jack Johnson
on June 7th
You can find crappie in 30-50 feet of water in the creek channels. Look for good structure like trees and weeds with your depth finder. Spoons and jigs work great. You can fill up your cooler if your patient and find the right spot. You might even catch a few bass doing the same thing.
