Big Water has northern pike, muskie, walleye, trout and bass. A lot of opportunity. The northern pikes and muskie area usually biting on realistic looking jake baits. Go for the darker colours so they disguise in the water easily and look like real fish. Bright coloured baits work as well but I stick with darker baits. Troll along the lake at a few KM/hr and use some 60 lb test lines with a 20 lb leader or so. Keep the tips in the air and make sure the tips are bobbing up and down -- this means your lure is swimming like a real fish underwater and this means you'll get a follow from a pike or muskie. Once you get a hit keep tension on the line! When you aren't reeling in you're pulling up in the rod, when you're not pulling up you're reeling in. Make sure you're drag is set appropriately.
