I had tried here a few times during the summer, it was low and weedy. Got some bites, just couldn't land anything. Went today after the few days of rain. I caught a decent small mouth, a bullhead, and 5 what i think are pumpkinseed? They weren't bluegill, crappie, or green sunfish. Very colorful sunfish. Anyways, all that was with night crawlers. I got a hit bites on lures, just couldn't set anything. Soon as i went to night crawlers, i was getting hit before putting down my rod. I didn't catch more because it got completely dark. So after the water level rises, i would highly recommend.
There are actually Bass, bluegill, and Trout in these ponds despite the description.
