I launched a small cartopper boat out here last year, and I really wasn't too surprised with the results. I fished the weedlines, drop offs, and some of the more prominent shoreline structure with soft plastics and crankbaits. I caught a few decent bass, but nothing else. I have heard the lake offers some nice trout fishing in the spring, but most of the fish are caught by the time I fished here in September. .

Try fishing the shallow bays, over the deep hole, and the drop offs along the southwest shoreline with live bait, spinners, crankbaits, spoons, and soft plastics for the decent fish found here.
