Have a great day

The best topwater action seems to be on the main lake from the marina to Morganton Point. If topwater shuts down or the fish won’t cooperate, try to present them something just under the surface.

Look for a great smallie bite in the mornings on the main lake. Open-water fishing will produce smallies daily. Look for busting fish out in open water. You can throw topwater baits like a Zara Spook or even a fluke.
