Giant Small Mouth Bass have been caught in this lake. Its a wonderful little lake off the highway that not a lot of people even know exists. If you don't mind about a quarter mile walk to get there.
Booher Lake is an amazing gem tucked away from the majority of people. If you don't mind a little walk, Booher Lake is one of my favorite places to relax and fish. They have Bass, Crappie and Blue Gill. I found that using a spinner or spook worked great just throwing it in front of a tree or bush. Bass were eating it up!. Crappie an Blue gill took a liking to fly fishing using a 1 1\2" white Larva fly I was absolutely killing it. Overall if you don't mind the hike or walking through muddy terrain Booher Lake is a absolute beauty of a place.
