Bow River near Bow River, Alberta
There isn't a whole lot I can say about the Bow River. This is one of the premier trout streams in the world. Everything you would expect out of a world class fishery can be found in the Bow River. Granted, the one downside is that the river is no secret, lots of people fish here every year. Personally, I prefer the upper river. The fishing isn't as good up there but there are less anglers and the water flows really clear. The upper river is mostly cutthroat trout that run 10-12 inches. A big fish up here is 15 inches.
