Brady Reservoir near Brady, Texas
The best fishing in the whole reservoir happens in spring when all the fish are spawning. When that happens you can find almost every single fish of every species in shallow water. For crappies fish the wood with jigs and live bait. For bass fish near creeks with spinners, soft plastics, live bait, and swim baits. The catfish can also be found near creeks but they feed on dead fish, cheese, rotten meat, and worms. Lastly the white bass are found in the inlets/outlets biting on jigs, spinners, soft plastics, and crank baits. The rest of the year the white bass can be found near the main lake bait schools. The bass can also be found near main lake bait schools but they are also found near the few weeds, wood, rocks, and drop offs. The catfish are found in deep holes and shorelines (night only for shorelines). For panfish you should fish over deep water because most of them have most likely suspended. Good luck fishing!
