Calapooia River near Albany, Oregon
Closed to steelhead and salmon fishing, the Calapooia River does have good catch and release fishing for wild trout in the upper half of the creek. The trout average 7-12 inches. The lower part of the creek has decent fishing for both species of bass and panfish. Crisscrossing roads provide great access.
