on July 13th

Year round trout stream stocked by the KY Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. Nice cold creek, even on the hottest days of summer. Lots of small Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, and the very rare Brown Trout. Very clean place. Very limited parking! The creek is public access but you have to walk/slide down a steep embankment; however, there is a big artificial rock bar that creates a strong run for easy access to the fish. The bridge is a pain because it sits so low to the water, and the neighboring properties are posted so it prevents a lot of access to the water without a kayak.
