Chilko Lake is 20,032 ha with a max depth of 365.8 m and a mean depth of 107.9 m. Fishing pressure is low for for 10lbs bull trout and 6lbs rainbows. I am not really sure why fishing pressure isn't higher; the fishing is great and the resorts on the lake are world class. More fish for me I guess. Flies work around creek mouths, otherwise trolling is the way to go. Chilko Lake is usually iced over from November to May.
