Claytor Lake near Radford, Virginia
Claytor Lake provides a lot of different fish for the beginner and experience angler such as carp, black bass, smallmouth and largemouth bass. One of the best fish to get out of this lake is the black bass. They provide the right amount of fishing for the angler. The best part is that you’re almost guaranteed to catch one no matter where you are in the lake. I chose to go towards the side while in my boat and under a nice tree, was a murky place where a lot of them were dwelling.
