Craig Lake near Delta Junction, Alaska
I was an MP stationed at Ft. Greely for 28 months, 1961 to march of 1964, at that time Craig lake was a much guarded secret lake, but once the word was out it became very popular, I caught many a large rainbows , I also did very well at Bolio Lake on the reservation. At that time their was a resort not far from their that you could rent a boat from, they had one at the lake and for $6.00 they would give you the key and you could unlock it and use it for the day, I also caught many trout out of Jan Lake, down by by Dot lake lodge. The best bait was eggs as there was no worms to be had in the DJ area. My name is Leonard Wickens, and I like to fish.
