Forty miles of great fishing and boating on the southern Link in the Whitefish chain. sunken islands, rocky reefs, bars and stump filled bays give Cross Lake the prerequisite structure. Max depth is 84 feet. Troll off the steep drops in the northern portion as well as the sunken islands. Pay special attention to the channels in Rush and Dagget lakes. Smallmouth bass are champions in here and a lot of fun to catch, Try Moonlight Bay with spinners cranks or plastics. Out from the Dam in the middle of the lake is Walleye country all season and jigging at depth hauls them up.
