Croton Dam near Newaygo, Michigan
We headed on the ice from the first boat launch on the east shore of the campground. We headed straight west to the north side of the island in about 34-40' water. Almost on top of the original river bed. We all limited with good size crappie and gills right off the bottom. We used minnows and maggots.
