on September 21st

Silvers are currently running like crazy. Squid jigs or spoons/flashers. Something fairly small, light; to dangle in front of them when they move through. They're not as hungry as they are territorial right now. Spokane St. Bridge would have great fishing, if it weren't for the many who choose to (illegally) snag/rip fish. They essentially run the dock, invade your space, cast on top of you, and spook the school/fish you have been working hard at attracting. Makes for stressful fishing (when it should be relaxing and peaceful) There is also a large Sea Lion, and a few Harbor Seals that are fishing at the same time you are, right in front of the dock (they gotta eat too, and know where to go). Have also seen and heard many complain about the tribal nets. Sad really, because the tribes are allowed, and are following the rules. At least you can still fish, be grateful for that. Fish aren't going to bite when you're scaring them through. My tip to the rippers, use a lure, and learn how to actually fish!
