Anglers will find some open water near the dam. Anglers have been catching both rainbow and brown trout, some as long as 14 inches. Most have been hooked by jigs, night crawlers or PowerBait.
If you like rainbow trout from 12-14 inches than you are in luck. They are biting amazingly well lately. Try fishing with orange or green PowerBait, white jigs with pink heads, worms, or little marshmallows. Always be sure to check ice conditions before venturing out. Good luck fishing!
