Falls of the Ohio near Louisville, Kentucky
River is up and flowing hard. Fished for sauger this morning on what wouldve seemed to be perfect conditions...overcast, front moving in, warmer air temps after the past weeks freeze, fished an eddy on an outside bend...
A couple bites was all we got. Even added a egg sinker to get bait to the bottom more surely, not a single fish caught. The sauger are really being tough to catch this year so far. The gulls were everywhere so the baitfish were definately going nuts, but from the bank, not a chance of getting out there.
