The fishing is good

on May 18th

The fishing is good, in Forbes Lake with lots of nice bass, good numbers of striped bass, lots of bigger saugeye, above average panfish, and really good catfish. Early in the season to might want to consider trying small shallow coves, fallen trees, and the shallow water on the northwest part of the lake. The rest of the season it's never a bad idea to try fishing drop offs, fallen trees, and weed lines. Good luck fishing!
